I am Bharti Suryavanshi, a writer who lives her stories before she writes them. For me, writing was never just a hobby — it was a necessity.I started writing around the age of twelve or thirteen. Thoughts would come to me — sometimes poetic, sometimes not — and characters would echo in my mind. I couldn’t ignore them, so I simply put them down on paper. For me, writing became a universe where emotions, dilemmas, and choices lived alongside me.The Journey of a WriterThe true realization of my calling came during my time working in a college. I submitted a poem titled “Maika” for a literary event, and the overwhelmingly positive public response showed me that my words could truly reach and move others. From that moment, I began writing seriously. My first story, Ajinkya, is extremely close to my heart. It is more than a story; it’s my personal journey, inspired by a single expression I saw on screen. Ajinkya was the way I channeled my struggles and emotions, giving life to my very first imagined “child.”Following my debut, I ventured into film.
My screenplay, Hello Zindagi (2022), became a significant professional milestone. This project allowed me to showcase my skill in crafting emotionally deep narratives for the big screen.Beyond the ScreenplayMy passion extends across genres and platforms. Besides novels and screenplays, I have penned numerous short stories and poems. These works can be found and enjoyed by readers on various reputed reading portals.Coming from a background with no writing connections, I faced challenges with self-doubt, limited resources, and the constant need to balance responsibilities. Yet, I kept my passion alive—slowly, steadily, and with determination. My Philosophy and FutureMy writing process usually starts with the ending. I see the conclusion first, then meticulously build the story and characters around it. I strive to create stories that anyone can enjoy—stories that entertain, captivate, and leave a lasting impression.“My aim is to write stories that not only entertain but also provoke thought and spark conversation.”Today, writing is my inner peace, my purpose, and the path I want to follow full-time. I am actively working on new stories and projects, eagerly exploring different avenues to share my universe of characters with the world. It’s not just what I do — it’s who I am.This final draft includes everything: your personal journey, the correct sequence of Ajinkya and Hello Zindagi, your work on short stories/poems, and a forward-looking statement about your ongoing work.
